The Latest and Greatest
Sorry it's been a while since the last post! Other than being on break, I've been busy working on this week's assignment of a photo story. I've got two running at the moment, one is about the opening of Bethesda's South Street Steaks- the absolute BEST place place to get a Philly Cheese Steak outside of Philly! And the other is about Steve Hauschka, the new place kicker for the Baltimore Ravens-and also my brother ;)
Those slideshows will all be finished in a couple weeks as we learn in class the ins and outs of final cut and fun programs like that. In the mean time here are some photos of the kicker extraordinaire with his new little puppy Jack from break in MA:

Relaxing & Reviving
Well being home in the 'Ham' has allowed me to take advantage of the opportunity to photograph little kids. I had the great opportunity to photograph my friend's little girl today so keep posted for some photos of her next week!
In other news, I've just had a great time chilling out here at the 'rents' house and catching up with old foodie friends and family. Though the weather has been pretty awful, it's given me a chance to just hang out, relax and play with my new photo equipment. I'm feeling quite refreshed in a great way and looking forward to heading back to DC and getting back to the young thriving life. There's something about visiting home that just makes me live like a retired 60 year old who doesn't have much to do. Anyway, I've got a couple gigs coming up that will be in the papers and I'll be sure to keep you posted!

Spring Break=bad weather=new goodies!
I'm spending the break in Beantown catching up with the fam and I'm missing out on the beautiful weather they're having in DC...Not fair! None the less I did get some amazing new camera equipment and have been playing with it during my free time. It's AWESOME!!! I got the new Canon 5D Mark 2 and a couple new lenses...so regardless of my spring break having dreary weather and snow, it's still awesome!

The Oberoi....Magical
Ok so if anyone has ever had the chance to experience a stay at an Oberoi you are a privledged person...Now I stayed in several of them while I was lucky enough to partake in an alum trip to India with The president of the Colorado College and former US Ambassador to India, Dick Celeste. Every Oberoi we stayed in would have this video playing in the room when you walked in. It is this amazing video that is just so mezmorizing with stunning videography and an incredible song...Anyway, with the weather we've been having lately here in the city, i've been dreaming about warm places and thought about this video...watching it just makes me feel like I'm on vacation!
